Progression of the plank exercise: Beginner to advanced.
This is your “order of operations”, if you will, for the progression of difficulty of the core plank exercise. I thought this would be a good video for everyone because it is not only a great core workout but if done properly it is a safe workout.
Notes of execution:
1) Don’t let lower back sag.
2) Don’t strain neck by forcing flexion or extension.
3) Engage glutes and core for full repetition.
